Sunflower Visits
We love to visit our Sunflowers in their home environments, playing games, singing songs and talking about life together. When we visit their homes we are better able to understand their needs and connect with the community around them, not to mention play games with all the kids in the area.
Currently we have 20 children that live in our local community that we visit weekly. The purpose of these visits is to show value for these children in sharing with the community around them, to monitor the growth of the child, and to better understand how we can meet the needs of children with disabilities in our wider community. We spend time with family members where we discuss their child’s needs, share stories and studying the Bible.
For those that are unable to attend school we give some basic education materials and we do our best to build deep and lasting relationships with the community around us.
